The Third Millennium, 2000-Present

An original short film created from Thought Equity Motion content
Premiering the opening night of Advertising Week in New York, this short film created from Thought Equity Motion footage tells the story of the first eight years of the millennium – an extraordinary time in history.

The Association of Music Producers (AMP) and editor Paul Kelly of Beast collaborated to create a truly original production that showcases how Creatives can tell their story without ever looking through the camera lens. They tapped Thought Equity’s library of historic moments captured on film – from the aftermath of 9/11 to the unprecedented 2008 Presidential Race – to bring their vision to life.

The Third Millennium: 2000-Present premiered at Nokia Theatre in Times Square with original music scored by a team of AMP member composers and performed by a 21-piece orchestra. Original film concept by Lyle Greenfield, President, AMP National Board.
